Congratulations to all of our runners who participated in the Dad’s Footsteps 5k virtual race this past weekend! We had over 500 runners complete the 5k with their dads, in honor of their dads, or as a dad themselves!
For all of those who missed this race, this is how the process went down:
Each runner registered and selected the race packet of their choice, which included a tee, medal, real bib and temporary tattoo, at the least. When June 19th arrived, it was off to race! All runners had until June 21st (Father’s Day) to complete the 5k! Runners then shared photos of their races on our Facebook and Instagram pages to celebrate their success!
We received countless numbers of race recaps of from runners with inspirational stories including, a father running “with” his family while overseas in Afghanistan, a daughter running for her father battling cancer, and runners who ran in memory of their fathers.
Thank you to all those who joined us this weekend! You all did a great job honoring your fathers!
Couldn’t join us this past weekend? Register here for our next upcoming race, All 4 Run.
