Mo Farah has won the 5K and 10K in Moscow at the IAAF World Championships!
On Friday, Mo Farah became the second man in history to win the 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters in both the Olympics and World Championships, as reported by Fox Sports. Mo’s win in the 5,000 in Moscow was possibly the best race we have seen from the star. He was an astounding force from 650 meters out. Farah took the lead during the final lap, moving past Ethiopian runner Hagos Gebrhiwer, to win with a time of 13:26.98. Farah has now won back to back 10,000/5000 doubles in the Olympics and IAAF World Championships.
Mo is a definite favorite to watch in future races. Not only does he display amazing athletic abilities, but he also has a positive and humble disposition. Farah commented on his achievement Friday and said,”It’s amazing. There’s not many athletes who have done that. Only the great Kenenisa Bekele, who has achieved so many things. And to be able to achieve what he has achieved is just an honor”.
